Yarn Bombing for St Robert

Calling all knitters!

If you knit, even better if you’re part of a knitting group; you are invited to knit a St. Robert. During FEVA we are going to ‘bomb’ Knaresborough with St. Roberts. This will raise awareness of the anniversary and also be part of a Treasure Hunt taking place over the festival. We hope to have hundreds of knitted St. Roberts but only some of them will contain clues for the treasure hunt.

To make this work we need everyone to get their needles out.

Please download the pattern, or collect a copy from the library. The pattern is free but if you’d like to give a donation to the costs of the anniversary events, please do so online.  We are going to collect them for their special job on 31st July, so please knit as many as you can by then. You just need double knitting wool so easy to get hold of, but do consider supporting local shops by buying from Knitting Pretty on CastleGate.
